Podnews recently reported that you can now install Apple Podcasts on Android powered devices.
After years of being exclusive to iOS devices, one of the most popular podcast platforms is now accessible to all Android users. While you won’t find it in the Google Play Store, the installation process is pretty easy.
Here’s how to get Apple Podcasts up and running on your Android device.
What You’ll Need
- An Android phone or tablet
- Google Chrome browser (make sure it’s updated to the latest version)
- An Apple ID (optional, but recommended for the best experience)
Installation Steps
1. Open Google Chrome on your Android device.
Next, go to podcasts.apple.com, then tap the Chrome menu button (⫶) in the top-right corner.
2. Select “Add to Home Screen”
3. Tap “Install when prompted.
